In the first visit with your audiologist, we'll get to know you and your hearing needs, review your medical history and start exploring the best ways to support your hearing health.

Using a video otoscope, your ears will be thoroughly examined.

Hearing Test
Within our soundbooth, a pure tone diagnostic test is done to evaluate hearing ability across various sound pitches, which aids in accurately mapping your hearing thresholds.

Speech In Noise Test
This assessment helps us to understand your ability to process speech sounds in background noise.
Step 4
of 6
Tympanometry
This test provides an objective acoustic evaluation of your middle ear function and can point to several pathologies. This test may not always be needed.
Step 5

Hearing Report
In the final part of your appointment, we’ll go over your hearing health and recommend hearing aids if they’re the right fit for you. We’re here to guide you, but we’ll always follow your preferences. We can also provide a report for you or to share with other healthcare professionals. The cost is £59, which can be deducted from a hearing aid purchase.
